Booting into Safe Mode without press F8

To go to Windows safe mode, we usually using F8 keyboard key, pressing it repeatedly  while booting. But sometimes it is not success because of pressing F8 too late or  not in the right time, we have to wait for windows to load normally, and restart again to repeat the step  pressing F8 when booting to go into safe mode.

To get into safe mode without pressing the F8 key, before you restart the computer, follow these steps


1. For Booting into Safe Mode without pressing F8  in Windows XP

• Click Start
• Type msconfig in RUN Command
• Click OK

System Configuration Utility Windows XP

• Click the BOOT.INI tab
• Give Check / checklist on /SAFEBOOT and MINIMAL
• Click Apply and click OK

• Restart the computer to see the result (to go into safe mode)

• To restore back to the normal, follow steps above, then remove the checklist we have changed.






2. Booting into Safe Mode without press F8 in Windows 7

• Click Start
• Type msconfig in the search field, or in RUN command (Win + R)
• Click OK

System Configuration Windows 7

• Click the Boot tab
• Give Check / checklist in Safe Boot and Minimal
• Click Apply and click OK
• Restart the computer to see the result

• To restore back to the normal, follow steps above, then remove the checklists we have changed.
