In my laptop, when I connected a memory card to the card reader of the laptop, sometime it was detected. sometime not detected. I tried other memory card, it was still the same problem. I thought the  laptops's memory card reader was damaged. It turns out the memory card is not damaged The problem is solved. In the BIOS setting of my laptop, there is an option named Card Reader Power Saving , I changed it from Enable to Disable . The memory card is always detected now. Maybe you have the same problem, and has card reader power saving setting in the computer/laptop's BIOS setting, you can try.

In my Toshiba laptop, when I try to boot using external boot I get the error message: BIOS IS NOT UEFI! The problem solved after I change  Boot mode   in System Configuration menu in BIOS setting. Restart the Toshiba laptop and go to the BIOS menu, (press F2 key many times during computer up) Make Disable the Secure Boot

On the Desktop computer HP Compaq dx 2700, after opening the cover of CPU case (altough it has been closed back again), when starting the computer,  there will be the alarm tone sound is quite disturbing. And we must press the F1 key to continue loading the OS (Operating System). And this will continue on every time the computer is restarted. The warning is : error  912 - The computer has been removed. The machinecover has been removed since last system start up. please Ensure That any system access wasauthorized. To solve this problem:

When the computer is turned on, before entering the OS (operating system) it will be handled by the BIOS (Basic Input Output System) first, initialize the existing hardwares, set some basic configurations (date, time, etc.), and then run the OS. BIOS configuration is controled by CMOS (Complementary metal oxide semiconductor) and the configuration will be lost (back to the default setting) when the battery is weak or exhausted. Here is one example of a warning if the BIOS battery is weak /empty/low : Usually we will press F2 to continue, or press F1 to setup. If we press setup (F1) and set the BIOS, then the configuration will be lost again when  the computer  shutdown.
