If you have already joined with Google plus and want to unjoin because of same reasons, you can read below, how to unjoin your Google account from Google Plus
• Login to your google+
• Go to Account menu at right and up side of page, (click on profile picture and then click on Account)

• On the Account page, scrol down the mouse, there's the Services menu, select Delete profile and remove the associated Google + features
• On the next display, choose Delete Google+ content
• Then click Remove selected services.
