How to Know IP Address in Windows 8

When your  computer  connected to a network, use LAN cable or use wireless (wifi), it has an IP (Internet Protocol) address.

There are two ways to find out the IP address on a Windows computer, through the Command (DOS) or go to the network connection menu.

Here is to know the IP address in Windows 8 via Network connection icon at the lower right corner (Icon differ between connection via wifi, cable and modem)



• Right-click on the network icon, and then select / click Open Network and Sharing Center


Wifi Connection 

Cable or modem connection
• Click on the connection being connected


• Click on the Details



• In this window will show the IP address that you want to know.
In the figure example, the IP address is: 192.168.2.110
